The Mastercard Foundation FAST Program, in partnership with CCHub, MDF Global, Concree, Scale Up, Savannah Innovations Lab, Inkomoko, and others, is designed to support early-stage and aspiring entrepreneurs who are alumni of Mastercard Foundation programs. The initiative offers tailored funding, mentorship, and business development training to help refine ideas and build viable ventures. The second application cycle opens on April 3, 2025, providing a transformative opportunity to access up to $15,000 in funding.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:
- Be alumni of one or more of the following:
– Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program
– African Leadership Academy (ALA)
– Anzisha Prize
– Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) - Provide proof of alumni status (verification letter, certificate of completion, etc.)
- Be in the idea or early-stage phase of their entrepreneurial journey.
- Be able to receive coaching in Arabic, English, French, Portuguese, or Spanish.
- Women, refugees/forcibly displaced persons, and individuals with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Benefits:
- Idea Phase Support: Up to $5,000 to refine and develop entrepreneurial concepts.
- Build Phase Support: $10,000–$15,000 to scale viable business models.
- Access to business development training, expert mentorship, and a supportive community of entrepreneurs.
- Application pathways for entrepreneurs based in or targeting Rwanda (via Inkomoko).

- For all other applicants, follow the main FAST program site (launching April 3, 2025).
